Our Mission
World Travel Learning Center, Inc. is a non-profit (501(c)3 corporation) set up to provide education to travelers and potential travelers and to encourage people of all ages to visit the world’s countries and expand appreciation, understanding, and acceptance of people and cultures different from our own.
Board of Directors
Robert “BO” Warren
Bo has traveled the world for over 36 years to the 195 countries recognized by the United Nations and numerous other territories such as Greenland, Easter and the Galapagos Islands and many more. In addition to Bo’s World travels he has founded and served as the president and CEO of five different companies providing civil engineering, environmental science and telecommunication services. He has undergraduate degrees in mechanical engineering and environmental science as well as a Masters of Science in civil engineering (MSCE) from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Ma. Since completing his walkabout of the world, Bo has helped found and become president of the World Travel Learning Center (WTLC), an organization designed to help educate people regarding world travel. Currently, Bo loves residing in his home at Bardwells Ferry where he enjoys working on his property, entertaining guests and listening to music ranging from the Beatles to Andrea Bocelli.
Robert “Bob” Mosco Jr.
Bob Mosco is a retired information systems manager and former technical course developer/instructor, providing database integration, storage replication and office automation expertise to the organization. Bob is a graduate of the University of New England (Biddeford, Maine) and worked for Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) and EMC for many years. Bob currently lives in Gardner, MA, and enjoys woodworking, skiing and learning about history.
Langdon “Lang” Allen
Langdon (Lang) Allen is now retired following a 40 year career in marketing with companies like General Foods, Sara Lee and Cadbury Schweppes, and, later, in management consulting with focus on growth strategy with Fortune 50 companies. He has an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Now he volunteers with several organizations, lives on Cape Cod, and can be found sailing in the summer.
Eric Warren
Eric Warren works in Real Estate out of Springfield, MA. Like his father, Bo, he enjoys traveling the world in his spare time.
Chris Fruean
Chris is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst (Chinese Language & Literature / Cultural Anthropology, 1988). He lived in the Asia Pacific region for 28 years, working in a variety of professional roles including translator, interpreter, researcher, journalist, editor, public relations manager, and marketing executive. He returned to the United States in 2016, and now works in corporate engagement at his alma mater, UMass Amherst. Chris has travelled extensively for work and pleasure throughout Asia, Australia, and Europe. He lives in Amherst, Massachusetts with his family. He has always been committed to the idea that travel opens minds and builds bridges to a better world.
Mary Lynn Sabourin
Mary Lynn Sabourin is the Director of Philanthropy at the Franklin Land Trust in Shelburne Falls, MA. Prior to joining FLT 17 years ago, Mary was a small business owner operating a computer-technology consulting and web design company. Active in her community and in the region, Mary served 20 years in municipal service. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and volunteers her time on several local boards.
